Viking's Table Private Dining Experience
Each Viking’s Table dinner is centered around a specific region of France. Every menu explores a different area, such as Normandy, Brittany, Provence, the Basque Country, or Alsace, through a series of dishes inspired by the region's traditions and ingredients. Some recipes are kept true to their original form, cooked as they have been for generations. Others are gently adapted to suit a small private dining setting and seasonal availability. The aim is not to replicate restaurant cuisine but to bring a region to life through its food.
Viking’s Table is designed for small groups who already know each other—friends, family members, colleagues, or those gathering to celebrate a special occasion. Each table typically accommodates between five and eight guests, creating an intimate and relaxed atmosphere rather than a formal one.
During the evening, Nicolas introduces each dish as it is served. Sometimes he shares a few words about its origins or traditional preparation methods. At other times, he might tell a story connected to the dish—something he remembers from home, something he's learned over the years, or a memory tied to a specific place or moment. The dinner unfolds slowly, following the rhythm of conversation, curiosity, and shared bottles.
Ultimately, the goal is simple: to provide an unforgettable evening. Not only because of the food but also due to the time spent around the table—talking, sharing stories, and enjoying the rare pleasure of sitting down together for a proper, unhurried meal.
